Cats, Cinema, and the Comfort of Home

The first thing that strikes you when you walk into my living room isn’t the poster of a classic movie or the sketch of a playful feline, but rather the comforting aroma of glade plug ins and cats, that wraps you in a warm embrace. It’s like a scene straight out of a movie, where art, cats, and the unmistakable scent of  Glade PlugIn combine to create a unique ambiance.

Cats and Their Cinematic Appeal

Have you ever noticed how cats have this uncanny ability to capture our attention, whether they’re stretching lazily in the sunlight or playfully chasing after a dangling toy? Much like the entrancing visuals of a movie, our feline friends have a certain magnetism that’s hard to resist. Cinema, in its essence, reflects life’s emotions, stories, and personalities. And who better to exemplify these traits than cats, the ever-observant spectators of our daily dramas?

Over the years, the cinematic world has welcomed cats into its fold. From animated characters like the suave Puss in Boots to the enigmatic cat in ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’, our whiskered companions have left an indelible mark on the silver screen.

Artistry in Aroma

Now, what does a Glade PlugIn have to do with all this? To me, scents are much like brush strokes on a canvas. They have the power to evoke emotions, memories, and even transport us to another world. My chosen Glade PlugIn scent is a bridge between the visual allure of art and cinema and the tactile comfort of my cats. It creates an atmosphere of coziness and warmth, reminiscent of a scene where the protagonist finds solace in their home after a long journey.

A Symphony of Sensations

Imagine this: You’re curled up on your couch, engrossed in a movie. Your cat, sensing an opportunity for some affection, hops onto your lap, purring contentedly. In the background, the soft glow of a lamp illuminates an artwork that speaks to your soul. And all around you, the gentle aroma from the Glade PlugIn envelops the room, completing this sensory experience.

In the end, it’s all about the fusion of different sensations—sight, touch, smell—that create a harmonious living space. My home, with its blend of art, the magic of cinema, the comfort of cats, and the enriching aroma of Glade, stands as a testament to life’s simple pleasures.

How to Watch Movies Online with Cinema Technology?

Cinema technology has been around for centuries, and it’s finally coming to the internet. Theaters have been giving way to digital cinemas for years, but now that the internet is making movies available in any language, there is no limit to the ways you can watch them. With a few clicks of your mouse, you can watch a movie on your computer, phone, or even set-top box.

Watching Movies at Home Like You’re in Real Theaters

Here are a few ways to enjoy cinema technology:

·         Watch movies online with a digital cinema system – most digital cinemas offer a great experience when watching movies online. They usually offer an HD resolution and high speed streaming.

·         Download and play movie files – you can also watch movies offline with a digital cinema system by downloading them into your computer or mobile device.

·         Watch movies on your TV – if you have an HDTV, you can watch movies on it using a digital cinema system.

·         Use Blu-ray discs – some digital cinemas offer Blu-ray.

What is cinema technology?

Cinema technology is a process used to display moving images on a screen. It has been used for centuries and has been the perfect way for people to enjoy movies.

Theater shows, like the ones that you might have seen in theaters, are just one of the many ways that cinemas use cinema technology. Digital cinemas are similar, but they can be found on the internet as well.

An incredible thing about digital cinemas is that they are completely free to use! The only costs associated with movies available through digital cinema systems include paying for high-definition movie downloads and paying for movie rentals.

What are some of the challenges of using cinema technology?

Of course, there are challenges to using cinema technology such as the learning curve amongst users, dedicated applications to be downloaded and fast internet speed to ensure that there is going to be an uninterrupted viewing experience. Another potential problem is if you have to buy a whole new set of TV for that crisp and vivid pictures. If that so, check out for used Ford trucks for sale to ensure that logistics of the equipment will not be a problem.

The Art of Video Games

video game-art

The Gaming world

It has grown into a multi-billion dollar business that has matured over the last few decades. Millions of copies of games such as Grand Theft Auto, Battlefield, and The Witcher are flying over the counter. However, many do not know that a growing group of art and game enthusiasts are also interested in visual design for video games.

Cook and Becker

Utrecht-based Dutch web player Cook and Becker is a world leader in this field. The company was founded eight years ago by Marten Brands and his younger brother Ruben. Both have a history of game development and tend to prefer visual arts. From their interest, they were looking for a high-quality printed matter of construction drawings, research, and conceptual drawings for video games.

However, this offer turned out to be so limited that it was founded by the Cook and Becker brothers. They work with illustrators, graphic designers, and artists around the world, as well as creative teams from large game studios such as Blizzard Entertainment, Guerrilla Games, and Bethesda Softworks.

Customers

Cook and Becker do not have many Dutch customers, with about 98% of its sales coming from abroad. France, Germany, and Japan are good markets, but 60% of sales come from the United States.

As a result, the Cook and Becker range consist primarily of products that may be offered for thousands of euros. And that’s probably also why Dutch consumers aren’t enthusiastic about it yet. The Netherlands is a little behind in this regard. For example, Dutch consumers have a much longer sales cycle than American consumers. They spend more money without looking at the product, like when salespersons sell CSGO skins for PayPal. Dutch people often want to check before buying anything.

Digitization

Utrecht also has a top-class location. Only the physical gallery model is obsolete, and up to certain price levels, e-commerce works much better, especially for international viewers. The gaming industry is experiencing rapid digitization. Many consumers choose to buy games digitally and download them directly to the console or computer. As a result, the number of physical copies is declining rapidly.

Movies

The company is also seeing expansion opportunities in the movie world, which, according to the brand, has become more and more similar to the game world in recent years. “The best game designers and artists are also working on, for example, Marvel and Star Wars blockbusters. It’s a kind of the same process. Today, 80% of blockbusters are computer-generated images.” The brand finds many opportunities for Cook and Becker. But he definitely likes one combination in the art of cinema. They have more to do with product rights, publishers, and portrait rights.

Game Revenue

In recent years, the game industry has grown exponentially. According to a report by market research firm SuperData, the gaming industry “and related industries” had sales of approximately US $ 120 billion in 2018. This makes the sport bigger than the film and music industries combined. Games like Fortnite have become particularly large in recent years. There, revenue is mainly generated by microtransactions, that is, in-game purchases. Sales of the game itself continue to grow.

Movie as a High Form of Art and Here’s Why

Art is quite a very broad term. Throughout centuries, it has gone through different meanings to different people. Art is quite complex as it is transcending cultures, language and time. This made art to be almost available everywhere from the creation of wholesale cabinets Texas, architecture or even in movies.

Art in Movies?

In movies, it might actually be deemed as the highest level of art. Then again, it will all fall depending on who is interpreting it. But for the sake of this article, we will establish a few reasons why movie is a prime example of art.

It Takes Years to Make

With movies running at average of 125 minutes, it is indeed a remarkable to complete such feat. Granted the length of a project does not always serve as the determining factor of the result, but the amount of commitment and dedication to put together the final product is something.

It Calls for a Team

Majority of art forms are requiring only the skill of the artist and on what he/she can achieve. With movies on the other hand, it requires teams of skilled and experienced individuals with one goal in mind.

Telling a Story

Every artist tries to tell a story or express their thoughts or emotions through their art.

Humans are communicating by stories and movies can tell various emotions to the audience and be able to connect with the viewers on different levels. Similar to a good photo or painting, movies might mean something totally different on the viewer.

Filmmaking Uses Skills Specific to the Craft

For as far as movies have been discovered, filmmakers are looking for new ways of improving technology to make their final film. The world of cinema literally created totally unique skill sets that are made strictly for cinema. Similar to inventing paintbrush, filmmakers hired technicians and scientist artist from different backgrounds in order to come up with tools that are necessary in making props, editing, shooting scenes, adding sound, adding visual effects, production and distribution.

Granted, these tools have been put into use in several other forms of media. Still, all these tools started to provide solutions to filmmaker’s challenges.

Replica of Ghostbusters Ecto-1 Automobile Stolen While on Display in Italy

The replica of the 1984 Ghostbusters Ecto-1 car, has gone missing and believed to have been stolen after it was displayed at the city of Lucca in Italy. Although it was only a replica, it was owned by a French fan named Eric Robin who spent more than ten years to locate and acquire the car and another two years to convert and restore it.

The replica car was actually discovered in his homeland in France, being used as a hearse by three villages before he came to own it. Recently, the car was shipped to Italy as part of a promotional tour of the forthcoming Ghostbuster: Afterlife movie. Fresh from a rust detailing job, the car is considered special as it is one of the few 1959 Cadillac Miller-Meteor replicas still in good running condition in Europe.

After the unfortunate event, Sony cancelled all schedules that included the car’s appearance, whilst calling on the italian public to immediately get in touch with them if they spot the vehicle. After all, stealing such a peculiar car can be difficult to accomplish without getting noticed. Some are even speculating that Ecto-1’s disappearance is all part of the promotional scheme to draw attention to the Ghostbuster : Afterlife movie slated for theater-showing worldwide on November 18.

About Ghostbusters : Afterlife

Ghostbusters: Afterlife is a threequel to Ghostbusters franchise that is set for theater release on November 18. The original Ghostbuster was a hit because it was filled with special effects that were rare during that time that combined with comedy. Based on the movie’s marketing, it seems like the Ghostbusters: Afterlife is just Ghostbusters III with hints of popular shows like Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Stranger Things.

The director is Ghostbusters (1984) director Ivan Reitman’s first son Jason Reitman. The movie features Mckenna Grace as the granddaughter of science wiz Egon Spengler. The present Spengler family relocated to a small town, but they seemed to have awaken a supernatural force that will lead to events that will turn them into the new breed of Ghostbusters. The film is filled with references to the 1984 movie and maybe even include cameo appearances except from the late Harold Ramis and the reclusive actor Rick Moranis.

“The Suicide Squad” – Critics Praise Director James Gunn for Superb Execution of Upgrades

Critics at Rotten Tomatoes who reviewed “The Suicide Squad” (2021) say that director James Gunn succeeded in combining action and humor with the right touch of edginess. Other critics say that it is definitely an upgrade from the first Suicide Squad movie released in 2016.

While most viewers had hoped for a newer storyline, the general consensus is that the continuous, fast-paced and violent action scenes and the sprinkling of humor here and there, atone for the lack of plot novelty. Nonetheless, “The Suicide Squad” (2021) is a film independent of the original as it doesn’t verify nor deny the events of the original, regardless of the storyline’s similarity with the 2016 source narrative.

”The Suicide Squad” – Plot Synopsis

“The Suicide Squad” 2021 edition still revolves around the group of incarcerated DC Comics supervillains pressured by the government to join a secret division called Task Force X. In agreeing to become expendable members of the black-ops team tasked to carry out seemingly hopeless missions, they were given a choice of being rewarded with a reduced sentence or be blackmailed to receive a greater degree of punishment Desertion is not an option because a bomb has been implanted on their necks to ensure cooperation, and at the same time keep them in line.

The new version focuses on a dangerous mission in Corto Maltese, a fictional island nation located near the coast of South America, and ruled by an anti-American government. The island harbors an active Nazi-era research facility, running a project called Starfish for the Corto Maltese government.

Wary of what the facility contains, the American government allowed a high-ranking national security official named Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) to send Task Force X on a covert mission to destroy the laboratory facility.

Notable as new addition to “The Squicide Squad” is idris Elba, who was originally tapped to replace Will Smith’s Deadshot character. However, writer-director James Gunn decided to instead add Elba via the supervillain character called Bloodsport, a.k.a. Robert DuBois.

Other supervillains included in the 2021 Task Force X line up include Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), and Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney), Polka-Dot Man (David Dastmalchian), Weasel (Sean Gunn) and King Shark (Steve Agee but voiced by Sylvester Stallone.)

Protest actions against Golden Globe’s Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) has picked up steam as big names in the entertainment launch boycott movement.

The earliest that NBC can air the show will be in January 2023.

Netflix, Amazon and Tom Cruise Made Similar Boycott Announcements

During the same week, streaming giants Netflix and Amazon announced that they too will not work with HFPA until meaningful changes have taken place. Tom Cruise immediately followed them up with his own act of protest by returning the three Golden Globe awards he received for Born on the Fourth of July, Jerry Maguire and Magnolia.

HFPA Communicate Its Itinerary for the Transformational Changes

Immediately following NBC’s announcement last Monday, the HFPA Board issued its own statement saying that they are making it their priority to institute transformational changes, As show of its commitment, the statement included an itinerary of the actions they will take.

WHAT ARE THE TASKS OF A FILM PRODUCER

Film producer sounds like an absolute dream job for every cineaste. But let’s be honest: Do you know exactly what a film producer does? And how do you actually become a producer?

What is a film producer?

Actually, there is not one film producer, but several different ones. In principle, producers are responsible for a film project: they not only manage and procure the necessary budget, but are also responsible for the sets, filming locations, equipment, props and costumes and coordinate the film team. So they make sure that the film project is running.

Since one person could not do all this, there are several producers who take care of the different areas of responsibility. Behind every film and every TV show is a whole team of producers who manages the artistic and financial goals of a project. In the following we want to introduce you to the most important producers.

The executive producer

He is called Executive Producer and has overall responsibility for a film project. So he is there from start to finish: from the project development to the filming preparations and the shooting up to the completion.

Above all, it ensures the procurement and provision of the necessary budget. Many executive producers are investors at the same time and put their own capital into the project. They also take care of the drafting of any contracts. So the executive producer is something like the head of the film project. Sometimes there is more than one, and in many productions well-known actors or directors act as executive producers. This not only provides a good financial injection, but is also a good promo.

The line producer

While the executive producer raises the funds, the line producer is responsible for managing the budget and drawing up schedules. A stressful job, because the line producer makes sure that everything and everyone is in place.

Above all, a line producer needs logistical talent, because he coordinates not only the timing of the project but also all employees. With it stands and falls the successful production of a film, that is why a lot of commitment is required in this job. Of all, the line producer probably gets the least sleep.

The Associated Producer

This term refers to a producer who works with other producers. Mostly the line producer, to whom he submits proposals and recommendations on the development process. The Associate Producer, as he is called in English, must be a real multitasker.

On the one hand, it collects and organizes information in case of investigations for production. In television productions, for example, he arranges interviews with experts and guests. It also checks statements and opinions for accuracy. This is particularly important on political and sensitive issues, so as not to jeopardize production and the final product.

The associate producer sometimes intervenes in the script and is involved in its development. He should also be able to write, because he is allowed to improve and actively co-write. He is also responsible for the sets, music, props and takes care of the needs and requests of the production team. If an actor has an important concern, then this usually ends up with the associated producer. For many, the position is an important step on their producer career ladder.

The Postal Producer

As soon as the film is shot, the post producer comes into play: he is responsible for the coordination of the editing, the special effects, the sound editing and all other post-processing. Under his direction, the film is only finished in the first place.

He, too, draws up timetables and ensures that they are adhered to. This includes test screenings and the release of the finished film. This process can take several weeks.

Follow-Up to “Coming to America” Arrives at Amazon Prime as “Coming 2 America”

“Coming 2 America,” a follow-up to Eddie Murphy’s 1988 “Coming to America” was released by Amazon Prime, a day ahead of its original March 05 schedule. Amazon Studios bought the distribution rights to the movie since Paramount Pictures was unable to release it for showing in theaters, due to the still ongoing pandemic.

Critics’ reviews were a mixed lot but all have showered praises to the film’s Oscar-winning costume designer Ruth E. Carter for her outstanding work. Working for the second time in creating costumes for the Coming to America franchise, Carter said that in creating for Black royalty, she made it so that it would depict a bit more of real African culture.

As far the film itself is concerned, Variety’s chief film critic Peter Debruge commented that the sequel is simply a modernised take of the original version; dishing out jokes, punchlines and propositions already used in the 1988 Coming to America movie. New York Times’ A.O. Scott was more subtle with his criticism; presenting a more positive review by mentioning that Coming 2 America is mostly funny without being inoffensive.

Coming 2 America Plot Summary

Megged under the direction of Craig Brewer, “Coming 2 America” is a continuation of Prince Akeem (Eddie Murphy) story and his forthcoming ascendancy as king of Zamunda, a fictional African kingdom that remains free from colonialism. As Prince Akeem’s father, King Jaffe (James Earl Jones) is terminally ill, his dying wish was for the prince to bring home a son he unknowingly sired during his first trip to America.

Prince Akeem didn’t know that the drug-induced tryst he had with one of the American women whom his friend and aide Semmi (Arsenio Hall) set up for him, had produced a son. Arriving in America, Prince Akeem got in touch with his first born and only male offspring, named Lavelle Junson (Jermaine Fowler), a street-smart ticket reseller doing his best to make a decent living.

He and Semmi brought Lavelle, Lavelle’s mother Mary and Uncle Reem to Zamuda, where Lavelle wilt be groomed as the next Crown Prince and successor to King Akeem. The plot thickens once the story unfolds in Zamuda, where General Izzi, the dictator of a neighboring kingdom called Nextdoria, hae been harboring a desire to annex Zamuda to his kingdom.

Top Six Most Expensive Films Of All Time

Titanic, The Harry Potter Saga, and Pirates of The Caribbean – These films are among the most successful films ever shown in cinemas. Do you know that these films are also among the topmost expensive films of all time?

1. Pirates of the Caribbean 3

The record holder in the ranking of the most expensive films of all time is the third part of Walt Disney’s production “Pirates of the Caribbean” . The part of the series devoured nearly $ 343 million due to weather-related interruptions. With box office earnings of $ 1.1 billion, Disney is now likely to take the high production costs calmly.

2. Cleopatra

The pompous epic, filmed in the 1960s and starring Elizabeth Taylor, cost $ 44 million at the time; today, adjusted for inflation, that would be around $ 340 million. The immense cost was caused by Liz Taylor’s repeated illness and the delayed completion of the script and set. 20th Century Fox was on the verge of financial ruin as a production company. It was not until 1966 that the costs could be offset. With a total of 446 million dollars in gross, the monumental film has meanwhile recorded an increase of 100 million dollars.

3. Titanic

The original budget for Titanic was $ 200 million. However, many actors fell ill after filming for hours in cold water. Some performers dropped out and three stuntmen had broken bones. And as if that wasn’t enough, a to this day unknown person poisoned the team’s food with the designer drug phencyclidine – many members of the team, including Cameron, ended up in the hospital. The cost of the film of $ 294.9 million seems ridiculously low, however, if you consider the gross profit of $ 3.2 billion.

4. Spiderman 3

The most expensive comic book adaptation to date with costs of almost 300 million dollars received only moderate reviews, but Spiderman 3 is likely to have met expectations from the audience. After all, the film made $ 1 billion at the box office.

5. Rapunzel – Respoiled

For the only animated film among the most expensive films, a completely new technique was developed that combined hand-drawn and computer-animated animations in a special way. The difficulties of the technical implementation and the resulting disputes in the team almost let the project fail and the costs rise to 281.7 million. The effort has paid off: Rapunzel grossed 641 million dollars worldwide.

6. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

The sixth part of the successful Harry Potter series grossed almost 1 billion dollars worldwide at a cost of $ 275.3 million. The Half-Blood Prince is the most expensive of all Harry Potter films to date. The Chamber of Secrets, for example, raked in more than eight times the cost at $ 100 million.

If you love Harry Potter, you will definitely love the sorting hat quiz. Check it out.

Following these top six most expensive films are Waterworkd (1995), Pirates of the Caribbean 2 (2006), Avatar (2009), The Hobbit (2012), The Dark Knight Rises (2012), and John Carter – Between Two Worlds (2012).

The Motorcycle Diaries (2004)

Based on the journals of Ernesto Che Guevara through an Extraordinary trip through South America with his friend Alberto en route to a medical profession, this is the strangest wanderlust movie. Riding through the magnificent jungle of Argentina and Peru, both consider the meaning of life while pursuing tail and pursuing sunsets. Additionally, it appears to be the job that created Gael Garcia Bernal a global celebrity.

The Scene: The scene is magnificent through the film, But specifically if both are driving Argentina on the rear of the Norton 500, together with all the snow-crested peaks rising ahead of them.

One Week (2008)

Once an introverted person named Ben learns he has stage IV cancer using a 10 percent chance of success, he does exactly the sole logical thing need to do to buy a 1973 Norton Commando 850 and heads west. Driving beyond scenic Canadian landmarks such as Lake Superior, the film is all about experience and the curative advantages of grabbing life from the handlebars.

The Scene: Ben’s inspiration for his experience comes as he sees a group of cyclists pass on the road, a completely relatable scene.

The Darjeeling Limited (2007)

A bicycle accident inspires Francis (Owen Wilson) to haul his two brothers and a trip of self-discovery, bringing them back together after years of estrangement. But that does not stop the trio from leaping on the rear of a Hero Honda to flee throughout the Rajasthan Desert on the trip to their mommy’s convent. The film makes it obvious there are lots of excellent ways to see India, however on the rear of a 100cc bike is unquestionably the finest, if able to manage the traffic.

The Scene: The three riding one bicycle conversing as they pass Rajasthan is the type of road trip just Wes Anderson could dream about.

The Wild One (1953)

The Wild One is one of my favorites for a purpose: Marlon Brando, states Norman Reedus, the celebrity of the Walking Dead and host of a forthcoming ride with Norman Reedus, A bicycle travel series on AMC. Despite an arguably ironic plot about two rival gangs, the film stands tall on the rear of Brando’s genius, and the iconic vision of him perched on his 1950 Triumph 6T Thunderbird.

The Scene: Brando’s Johnny Strabler leaves his favorite pub, Bleeker’s, to observe that the rival gang leader, Chino, sitting on his bike using Johnny’s stolen decoration. “Do not do this,” Johnny says until they participate in an epic struggle.

The Fantastic Escape (1963)

Steve McQueen had a fire for the bike with over 100 machines in his private garage. It is no wonder that he seemed so at ease in addition to this 1961 Triumph TR6 Trophy within this POW story, occurring during WWII. Although the real story the film was based on did not involve bikes in any way, McQueen asked they are written to the script, and they’ve since become the most memorable scenes by far.

The Scene: McQueen’s character Captain Virgil Hilts creates a daring effort to escape by leaping over a barbed wire fence onto his Triumph. Though he gets the very first incredible leap, he wrecks his bicycle in the next period of fencing.

Terminator 2: Judgement Day (1990)

Arnold Schwarzenegger as the unstoppable Terminator selects a Beastly Harley-Davidson Fat Boy version FLSTF because of his brakes. Collectively both sensibly iconic machines put waste to city blocks in this unbelievably entertaining sequel whilst combating the T-1000 and protecting a young John Connor.

The Scene: This film has undoubtedly among the trendiest bike scenes. John Connor jumps on his dirt bicycle to escape the T-1000, while the Terminator isn’t much behind on his Fat Boy along with his trusty shotgun in hand. The trio of all combatants cruises through San Fernando Valley’s Bull Creek and Schwarzenegger even carries his Harley airborne at a hopeless stunt to save the day.

Techniques Behind Awesome Car Scenes

Movie car scenes, particularly high speed chases, can make our heart pump with excitement because they look so dangerously real and terrifying. What could be the techniques used by filmmakers when creating spectacular action scenes inside moving cars?

Not a few of those involved in filming car scenes say that those are among the most difficult and expensive shots of modern action movies. There was a time when actors merely acted everything out, from driving the car to making viewers believe they are being chased at breakneck speed. Yet that was a long time ago, when a technique called chroma keying or chroma key compositing was the only and safest method to use in shooting footage of car scenes.

Overview of the Chroma Key Compositing Method

Chroma key compositing is actually a method used in creating visual effects, mostly as part of the post production processes. This technique is widely harnessed not only in movie making but in other fields as well, such as in video game development and in newscasting. Two images or video streams are fused together, by laying one on top of the other.

Earlier chroma key compositing methods entailed removing the background of one image or video clip, whilst using the other image or video as new background. The contemporary version of this approach, made the compositing or layering process easier by shooting or filming an actor or subject against a “green or blue screen.”

Post production technicians will then insert the desired background image or footage, as backdrop of the foreground actor or object in ways that will allow the green or blue screen to become transparent. The chroma keying process will then make it appear that the footage of the actor or object was filmed in a setting or location deemed appropriate for a particular scene.

In more ambitious film projects and in the most successful ones like the “Fast and the Furious” film franchise, other techniques using camera mounts and process trailers are the key elements for creating riveting car scenes with maximum reality.

A Brief Glimpse at How “Fast and the Furious” Movies were Made to Look Superbly Realistic

A film-making technique that can create realistic scenes on a different level, is one in which actors are actually riding in a stationary car, while acting in real time background. As an actor is made to appear as if he or she is actually driving a car, the filming process requires the use of a process trailer.

What is a Process Trailer

A process trailer is a trailer used as a low platform on which to load a vehicle where an actor or his/her stunt double, acts out a scene inside a non-moving car. The stationary car will still appear as a moving vehicle in the filmed footage because a tracking trailer tows the low platform on which the car is positioned. At the same time, the tracking trailer also serves as a moving camera platform, where the camera men take positions in front, on both sides, and on top of the towing vehicle.

The production team of the “The Fast and the Furious” franchise films takes pride in sharing that they also used a fleet of real cars to make every difficult car scene incredibly realistic. Dennis McCarthy, the lead car coordinator for four of the “Fast and Furious” series, said they actually purchased cars to partially or fully destroy.

As part of the filming processes, McCarthy’s crew built identical copies as backup vehicles to use, after one has been totally wrecked or damaged intentionally for a film segment. He also let out the secret that when it comes to buying junk cars, they usually have to meticulously comb classified ads.

They were able to track down cars in models and make that they were looking for, in the Mojave desert. Each piece cost them at least $7,000 plus cost of towing service san jose, because most of the cars they bought were actually “90 percent garbage.”

How to Better Planning on Movie Promotion

School auditorium chairs

Pupils from New Orleans’ University talks about their college utilises films to make interesting events and aims to set a different movie watching experience.

“We plan many different films on campus since they are only an extremely simple, accessible occasion,” said Ryan, Student Activities Council president. “Students like to watch unique items and visit unique encounters, so having distinct immersive occasions can earn a film program effective.”

“We’ve got our outside amphitheatre so students may get blankets and lawn chairs. We’ve got our Olympic sized swimming pool we could perform a film. Or even occasionally to mix this up, we will perform a drive-in picture where we will show off a whole parking lot and establish a significant blow-up display,” clarifies Maddie, both the treasurer and communications manager for the SAC.

“A great deal of this time once we’re arranging a movie-based occasion, it will have an issue around it. We [arranged ] that a picture where we screened ‘Finding Dory’. However, if we do not have a particular theme we are going with set out surveys on social websites such as Twitter and Facebook to attempt to obtain a sense for what pupils wish to view,” Ryan notes. Per Angelle, who is responsible for advertising for your Student Activities Council, pupils like engaging in film polls “because they then get to feel as though they’re part of preparing it”.

Maddie additional that film events are fantastic for any student demographic, plus they give a simple method for students to hang out with their friends and create a few new ones. Angelle mentioned, “We all do them much through the first week of college. We call it ‘Welcome’. A great deal of the students wind up joining the very exact associations on campus, moving Greek collectively or linking student actions councils, therefore it is a fantastic networking app.”

To market their movie occasions, the SAC utilizes social networking blasts on the very common societal channels such as Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram and Twitter. Because greater than 30 per cent of this University of New Orleans’ student population contains commuter students they have a way of targeting this harder-to-reach demographic. “Our ski tickets are yellowish on campus, therefore that I print out yellowish leaflets and I put them on the automobiles (even though they could hire businesses which may provide leaflets distribution better – view services here).

If they visit it, they understand it is not a railroad ticket. It is stating ‘come to the event’,” clarifies Angelle. The college also allows the SAC send email blasts so all students, graduate students and employees are alert to the film occasions.

It must be easy to get the best seats in the house only if you put in some thoughts on how you buy your tickets and pick your seat.

Best Seats

It is because, these are the seats where sound technicians seat when calibrating the movie experience for moviegoers just like you! It’s a good practice in getting great seats. Virtually all movie theaters have this spot where the audio and visuals are its best. This is otherwise finding the best angle.

By standards, 36-degree viewing angle from farthest seat in theater is the best you can have. You want your viewing angle at its maximum.

You’d not believe how hardcore movie fans have used complicated math equations just to solve this question. However, the best data engineers in the Analytics team would have informed viewers when asked but they were not.

If you want to ensure that no one would sideswipe you in getting the best seats in the house, why not take advantage of ordering tickets online and make a reservation for your seats. It may add few on the total, but it is all worth it!

Bringing the Movie Experience at Your Home

P.S I Still Love You: The Ultimate Review

The most awaited sequel to the ¨To All the Boys I´ve Loved Before¨ is ¨PS. I Still Love You¨. Indeed, a lot of people are talking relentlessly about this awaitedd movie of the year. And on its first day, it is definitely making noise on Netflix.

I mean we all know rom com movies don´t usually get their sequels on the next year, but the book inspired series To All the Boys I´ve Loved Before is definiely different! The people just needed to see it right after the year.

That is why today, I am making a short film review of the recently launched PS I Still Love You. The question is, is it worth the hype?

Cinematography

For a Netflix film, the cinematography of the movie is definitely worth it. The film is good at is getting inside the mind set of teenager. Although it is a classic adaptation to the book, the filming and cinematography just get along with it.

Plot Twist

If you have been reading the book series of this movie, then you are definitely in the loop for what´s coming, what´s next and what is it going to be. I am so glad that they retain the contents of the book and only revised some of it into really making it a good movie. The plot twist was awesome, and it is definitely not the one you have been thinking of.

Typically, it is sort of a classic rendetion of the book so don´t expect more like having it done on a new generation basis of plot twists. I am glad Netflix didn´t do anything to really revise the whole story.

Next Movie is Coming

People will be wondering, ¨okay, what next Lara Jean?¨.

What can be said about where this all ends but that To All the Boys: Always and Forever, Lara Jean is tentatively slated to come out later this year? And that, ultimately, these films might get at something sometimes true about young love that they never intended, which is that the ideas that you form about who you should want can be difficult to shake. They can stick around for so long that you can end up making a whole movie about someone hurling herself at a relationship that doesn’t seem to make her happy. That she’s still sure it’s all she ever wanted may not be romantic, but it’s definitely real.

Editing Movies

A movie isn’t brief, compact and tight, therefore it doesn’t lure the audiences. Editing a picture finds arrangement of shots based on viewpoint that is clear so the audiences could derive delectation.

In theatre, normally two techniques have been followed closely, viz., mise-en-scene and montage. Mise-en-scene denotes the composition component of film making. On the flip side, procedure and the editing mode is kenned as montage.

These days, it’s the age of computers and editing has been performed in computers. The practice of editing together with computer’s avail is known as non-linear editing. It’s optically discerned when the film is taken, it requires a lot more time. NG shots and of the undesirable need to be edited to provide the picture that is streamlined to you. It may be expressed as any artwork requires practice and dedication, this artwork must be rehearsed by the editor over and over and that a picture is an artwork. Only perfection could come and he’d have the ability to play with the emotions of the audiences by viewing a film.

Whilst viewing the shots, the audio, that has been’synced’ or listed using the shots such as the ambience sound, has to be edited or sound has to be recorded . The editor receives the reach of engendering artificial items. Some clinic folly-where the thing is thrown and the noise is recorded.

A lot of men and women have the opinion as everything in the impact of thunder and lightning is available, that film is created about the editing table.

Whilst editing, the shots have been so organized that the impotent shots behave as parasite into the vigorous ones and sometimes editing obnubilates the errors done from the engenderment stage. It may be expressed that the debate between the non-linear and linear editing is subjective. Whatever be the kind, editing should not function as cull of shots but also the cull of these shots along with the overview.

This is how hard film editing is. It requires a lot of considerations it is not as simple as “You can buy Rick Simpson Oil Here’ but thanks to technology for a more facile and convenient working.

The film’s showing at the Belasco Theater at West 44th Street has “The Irishman” title flashing in bright lights like a typical Broadway show. It will run at eight (8) shows per week from Tuesdays to Sundays up to December 01, at a ticket price of $15.

The Egyptian Theater owned by American Cinematheque, which could very well become the first moviehouse owned by Netflix, will run the 209-minute crime drama up to November 14, 2019.

On November 27, 2019, the streaming giant’s 158 million subscribers will be able to watch “The Irishman” right in the comfort of their own home.

The National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO) Expresses Disappointment Over Netflix’s Release Strategy

John Fithian, president of NATO calls Netflix’s release of a film handled by a major director, a disappointment and a disgrace. According to Fithian, it is a disgrace because the streaming company is letting go of “significant money on the table,” by releasing “The Irishman” on a short window. He also said that it is a very big disappointment because a Martin Scorsese film will be playing at only one-tenth of the screens on which it should have played.
