Chile Repatriated Moroccan Fossils Seized from Smugglers by Chilean Custom Authorities

fossil artefactsA repatriation ceremony held last Monday at the National Library of Chile saw the return of 117 Moroccan fossils dated about 400 million years ago, to the Moroccan kingdom. The handover of the Moroccan-origin fossils is a clear example of the commitment between countries to combat the illicit activities called antiquities trafficking. Yet it’s also a clear indication that antiquities trafficking is still rampant because there is a high demand for them in the dark side of the global art market.

The Moroccan artefacts were seized by Chilean customs officials from smugglers. Kenza El Ghali, Morocco’s ambassador to Chile remarked that antiquities trafficking could be worse than drug trafficking. Nevertheless, the handover ceremony was officiated by Nelida Pozo Kudo, the Director of Chile’s National Heritage Service, who praised the Chilean customs for seizing the Moroccan fossils. Their action exemplified Chile’s continuing commitment to protect cultural property against criminals who violate international laws.

What Investigators Discovered about the Antiquities Trafficking Activities of Criminal Networks

Investigations into the smuggling of valuable antiquities revealed direct connections between auction houses, museums and elite art collectors and organized criminal networks. Reports have it that the European, North American and Asian markets for smuggled antiquities are open to high net-worth private collectors with reputable social standing. Many respected cultural institutions like museums are also into buying the antiquities for exhibition purposes, without risks of legal reprisal.

Some examples of compelling cases uncovered by investigators of the illicit trade of antiquities in the global art market, include:

  1. The direct link of the auction house Sotheby to the pillaging of temples in Cambodia;
  2. The Getty Museum’s link to the destruction of Italian and Greek tombs;
  3. The recent return of thousands of Iraqi artefacts revealed the direct involvement of the owners of a US craft store called Hobby Lobby;

Apparently, the criminal networks developed a system of supplying antiquities to upstanding buyers in the gray market by cleaning the taint of illicit activities. The antiquities are first laundered clean of any taint of illegal activities by putting them on display at exhibitions in respectable institutions and auction houses, as a means of obscuring any evidence of theft or crime.

Cats, Cinema, and the Comfort of Home

The first thing that strikes you when you walk into my living room isn’t the poster of a classic movie or the sketch of a playful feline, but rather the comforting aroma of glade plug ins and cats, that wraps you in a warm embrace. It’s like a scene straight out of a movie, where art, cats, and the unmistakable scent of  Glade PlugIn combine to create a unique ambiance.

Cats and Their Cinematic Appeal

Have you ever noticed how cats have this uncanny ability to capture our attention, whether they’re stretching lazily in the sunlight or playfully chasing after a dangling toy? Much like the entrancing visuals of a movie, our feline friends have a certain magnetism that’s hard to resist. Cinema, in its essence, reflects life’s emotions, stories, and personalities. And who better to exemplify these traits than cats, the ever-observant spectators of our daily dramas?

Over the years, the cinematic world has welcomed cats into its fold. From animated characters like the suave Puss in Boots to the enigmatic cat in ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’, our whiskered companions have left an indelible mark on the silver screen.

Artistry in Aroma

Now, what does a Glade PlugIn have to do with all this? To me, scents are much like brush strokes on a canvas. They have the power to evoke emotions, memories, and even transport us to another world. My chosen Glade PlugIn scent is a bridge between the visual allure of art and cinema and the tactile comfort of my cats. It creates an atmosphere of coziness and warmth, reminiscent of a scene where the protagonist finds solace in their home after a long journey.

A Symphony of Sensations

Imagine this: You’re curled up on your couch, engrossed in a movie. Your cat, sensing an opportunity for some affection, hops onto your lap, purring contentedly. In the background, the soft glow of a lamp illuminates an artwork that speaks to your soul. And all around you, the gentle aroma from the Glade PlugIn envelops the room, completing this sensory experience.

In the end, it’s all about the fusion of different sensations—sight, touch, smell—that create a harmonious living space. My home, with its blend of art, the magic of cinema, the comfort of cats, and the enriching aroma of Glade, stands as a testament to life’s simple pleasures.

The Role of Home Inspection in Protecting Art and Cinema Collections

Art and cinema collections hold tremendous value, both monetarily and culturally. These collections often contain priceless masterpieces, historical artifacts, and cherished memorabilia. However, the preservation and protection of these collections pose significant challenges. That is where the role of thorough home inspection comes into play. Let us explore home inspection’s crucial role in safeguarding and maintaining art and cinema collections, ensuring their longevity and value for future generations.

Ensuring Optimal Conditions through Home Inspection

Art and cinema collections require specific environmental conditions to prevent deterioration, such as temperature, humidity, and lighting. A thorough home inspection conducted by experts can identify potential issues that may adversely affect these collections. Inspectors can evaluate the HVAC systems, insulation, and overall climate control of a property to ensure the ideal conditions for preserving delicate artwork and sensitive film reels.

Controlling Temperature and Humidity

Temperature and humidity fluctuations can have a detrimental impact on art and cinema collections. High humidity levels can lead to mold growth, paper warping, and corrosion of metal components. On the other hand, extreme temperatures can cause fading, cracking, and brittleness. Through home inspection, professionals can assess the insulation, ventilation, and dehumidification systems to create a stable environment for these collections.

Proper Lighting to Prevent Fading

Lighting is another critical factor that requires careful consideration when protecting art and cinema collections. Excessive exposure to natural or artificial light can lead to irreversible fading and discoloration. Home inspectors can evaluate the property’s lighting setup, recommend appropriate window treatments, and suggest UV-filtering films or coatings to mitigate the damaging effects of light.

Identifying Structural Integrity for Safe Storage

The structural integrity of a property plays a vital role in the safe storage of art and cinema collections. Home inspection encompasses a thorough examination of the building’s foundation, walls, roof, and overall structural stability. Detecting signs of water intrusion, leaks, or structural weaknesses is crucial to prevent potential disasters that could damage or destroy valuable collections.

Assessing Security Systems

Art and cinema collections often require enhanced security measures to protect against theft or unauthorized access. Home inspectors can evaluate existing security systems, including alarms, surveillance cameras, and secure storage options, and make recommendations to strengthen security protocols. By ensuring comprehensive security measures, collectors can have peace of mind knowing their prized possessions are well-protected.

Preventing Pest Infestations

Pests pose a significant threat to art and cinema collections, as they can cause irreparable damage to delicate materials. A comprehensive home inspection includes assessing the property for potential pest infestations, such as termites, rodents, or insects. Inspectors can identify vulnerable areas and recommend appropriate pest control measures to safeguard these valuable collections from destructive critters.

Collaboration with Experts in Conservation

Home inspectors often collaborate with experts in conservation and restoration to provide a holistic approach to protecting art and cinema collections. These professionals bring specialized knowledge and skills in preserving and maintaining various types of artwork, sculptures, paintings, film reels, and other collectibles. By working in tandem, home inspectors and conservation experts can develop tailored strategies to ensure the long-term integrity and value of these collections.

Another risk is the legal and regulatory frameworks that apply to outsourcing, both in the home country and in the country where the outsourcing partner is located. Intellectual property rights, data privacy laws, and labor laws are just a few of the legal considerations that businesses need to be aware of.

You have to enjoy what you’re doing, because if you don’t, it’s going to show in your videos. The more you practice and step out of your comfort zone, the more confident you’ll become.

Create Good Music and Outfits

Once you get into the flow of things, you’ll notice that there are some TikTok users who are very active on the app.

That’s because TikTok is an art form in itself. The more you practice, the better you’ll become, and you’ll soon discover your unique style.

Once you find what works for you, you can then build upon it, creating more content and becoming more active on the app. The great thing about TikTok is that you can do whatever you like. There are no set rules or guidelines, so you can be as creative as you want to be. The only thing you need to keep in mind is to have good quality music and outfits for your videos.

Create a Hashtag You Can Use More Than Once

One of the most important things to remember when creating TikTok videos is to create a hashtag you can use more than once. Once you start posting and getting more views, you’ll notice that some of your hashtags are being used by other users.

TikTok allows you to add up to two hashtags with each video, so make sure they are relevant and easy to understand. A good rule of thumb is to select hashtags that appeal to your target audience and avoid using too many hashtags in one video.

Oscar Wilde, A Plumber, And A Talented Writer

Oscar Wilde started his career as a plumber in 1854. He earned a living by fixing pipes and other sewer systems in London. It was the beginning of his long career as a writer and literary figure. He was born in Ireland on October 16, 1854. He was a talented writer with a wild sense of humor and an outspoken approach to life. His most famous works include The Picture of Dorian Gray, The Importance of Being Earnest, and As You Like It.

While many plumbers today are ordinary as it seems, they draw inspiration from Oscar Wilde. They don’t just do plumbing but they also leave behind the art of perfect plumbing like the plumbers at Haarlem.

Oscar Wilde as the Plumber, what are the struggles of Oscar Wilde while being a plumber and a writer

Oscar Wilde is the most famous writer of his era. He is one of the most influential writers in the world. Despite being a well-known writer, he had to struggle a lot before becoming one.

Oscar was born in Ireland as Edward Wilde and grew up in England, where he was educated at Oxford University. He started his career as a journalist and wrote for various magazines including The Critic and The New Review.

He soon became known for his wit and satire, which made him popular among London’s upper class society. Why Anime Movies Should Be Considered As Art?

Anime

Heroes such as Transformers, Spider-man, Wonder Woman, etc. including Pirates of the Caribbean are attracting a lot of attention this summer (the slump of “Power Rangers” is regretted behind that!). If you are in the area that is still showing, it is a big hole work that you should take a look at!

In Japanese movies, manga and anime-original movies such as “Gintama,” “My Heart Wants to Scream,” “Tokyo Gyo Deed,” and “Naruto,” which makes Naruto Clothing sales get record high, are in great shape. Anime movies have been a big hit with Pokémon breaking away from the low-flying of the last few years, and maniac routes such as “No Game No Life Zero” and “Theatrical Student Council Executives” have also been clean hits. It is also an interesting event that minions are gaining momentum over Disney in overseas animation.

However, it is also true that many beautiful movies are as beautiful as flowers blooming quietly in such a gorgeous corner. This time, we will introduce you to some of the most artistic anime movies.

The secrets of Brendan and Kells, directed by Irish talent Tom Moore

It is no exaggeration to say that it is located at the highest peak of entertainment in Japan, but in many countries overseas it is the same as it used to be divided into either family-friendly works or artistic works using anime. However, since Japanese anime such as Studio Ghibli’s works have become widely accepted overseas, it seems that the number of such “movies” itself, which is not suitable to simply divide into two for entertainment and art, is increasing recently.

Tom Moore’s the secrets of Brendan and kells, whose Irish film song of the sea Uta was well received in Japan, is the first. It’s also Moore’s memorable feature-length debut in 2009, a masterpiece that was nominated for the 82nd academy award for a best-animated feature film.

Set in 9th-century Ireland. As large-scale construction continues to create a wall surrounding the kells abbey in preparation for the invasion of the evil Vikings, a famous monk has fled Scotland with the book of kells.

The book of Kells, a gospel written by the biography of Matthew and Marco, and now known as the “Most Beautiful Book in the World,” is now a national treasure of Ireland, but this film depicts the adventures of Brendan, a boy ascetic monk, and Ashlyn, a fairy girl, to complete this holy book.

The feature of this work is that it is based on the drawing that makes use of the Celtic pattern of the Irish tradition after all, and especially the Celtic pattern is drawn in “book of kells” comes to life.

As well as song of the sea, Bruno Cre, and Ireland’s leading music group “Kila” are in charge, and the compositions and drawings that the soul of their home country is in full of the world match beautifully, bringing excitement.

A short story, by Koji Yamamura, a talented man born in Japan, “A Dream with the Right and Left Eyes”

An artistic work that I would like to introduce from japan is “Koji Yamamura’s right eye and left eye dream,” which is nominated in the short animation category at the 75th academy award for “Head Mountain” in 2002 and shows nine short works by world-renowned animation artist Koji Yamamura, who has been a member of the academy of film and arts since last year.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Toronto reel Asian film festival, “Zodiac 1/3” (1/3) produced by the Chinese zodiac sign considered 20 years as “1/3 lap” from 1 lap in 60 years (16/ first opening in theaters).

Some of these movies tried to reproduce the “color fantasy” of Canadian animation writer Norman McLaren, which can be said to be the backbone of “McLaren’s Workshop,” with abstract painter Sanae on a longitudinal screen as a tribute to the American contemporary composer George crumb, Satie’s “water dream (1 proboscis) (1) (17/ first theater) which expresses the evolution from the birth of life in the sea to whales with music and video is an animated reproduction of the ballet music “paradox” composed by French composer Eric Satie as a surreal ballet image.

A total of 54 minutes for all nine works, and a collection of works that satirizes the heart in a truly easy-to-see but blissful time. Young people who are aiming to produce anime should also be sure to see it. I was fascinated by “Kojiki Hidako Hen,” and next I wanted to see “Kojiki” movies in feature films (or rather, I would like director Yamamura to participate in commercial-based animation films once!).

Documentary and animation artist
Hiroyuki Matsumoto’s two ambitious films

Director Hiroyuki Matsumoto of the exploration documentary “Jomon and Pacer Voyage” (currently showing at Shimokitazawa trim wood), which recorded the adventure of carrying out a four-year voyage from Indonesia to Okinawa in a handmade canoe and has been released all over the country since it was released in 2015.

He is also a director Matsumoto of and an animation artist, and two short films that he worked on are currently being screened in Shimokitazawa trim wood, Tokyo.

“In Goya Hoboken” (11/22 minutes) is a live-action animation of a boy and a dog learning and growing up on the importance of others in the ocean, with a flat doll on the glass. Snoopy fights with the kennel as a fighter, but this dog and boy travel instead of a boat with the kennel upside down, but
there is something that is somewhat smiley.

“Kioku Kiroku Now” (15/18 minutes) covers the testimony of the atomic bomb in Nagasaki by 95-year-old sister has Nishiguchi and has more than 1,000 consecutive photographs taken at that time Torres and draw pictures by more than 1,000 men and women of all ages in our city, Nagasaki prefecture (that is, citizens become an animator!). It is a miraculously beautiful and noble work that could have been done in the project of making the interview scenery and animation together (the movie can see both the production scenery document and the animation).

Two films full of experimental motivation were released until Friday, August 11, but the screening will be extended. The following dates are Saturday, August 12, Friday, August 18, Saturday, 19, Saturday, September 26, and Friday, September 1, so please watch it as soon as possible!

Ballerina, a 3d movie
that develops a girl’s dream

Finally, it’s a bonus, but we will also introduce the family anime movie “Ballerina” made by a French and Canadian joint work.

Set in Paris at the end of the 19th century, the world view that was often seen in Japanese girls’ manga, etc. Will be brilliantly and happily presented in 3d, where girls who grew up in the facility escaped from the facility to realize their dream of dancing as etoiles at the opera, entered ballet schools at the end of twists and turns and started intense training.

It is a work that will be a work that will develop future dreams while being pleased when a little girl sees it, so please take it with you.

There are various forms of animation in various forms around the world like this, but these artistic tastes are actually included as elements of entertainment, and in that sense, art, moe, family, adults, simple things, esoteric things, equally “enjoy” if you even face it with your heart, everything will be able to become entertainment.

May all animated films open the door to the hearts of the audience!

The Art of Video Games

video game-art

The Gaming world

It has grown into a multi-billion dollar business that has matured over the last few decades. Millions of copies of games such as Grand Theft Auto, Battlefield, and The Witcher are flying over the counter. However, many do not know that a growing group of art and game enthusiasts are also interested in visual design for video games.

Cook and Becker

Utrecht-based Dutch web player Cook and Becker is a world leader in this field. The company was founded eight years ago by Marten Brands and his younger brother Ruben. Both have a history of game development and tend to prefer visual arts. From their interest, they were looking for a high-quality printed matter of construction drawings, research, and conceptual drawings for video games.

However, this offer turned out to be so limited that it was founded by the Cook and Becker brothers. They work with illustrators, graphic designers, and artists around the world, as well as creative teams from large game studios such as Blizzard Entertainment, Guerrilla Games, and Bethesda Softworks.

Customers

Cook and Becker do not have many Dutch customers, with about 98% of its sales coming from abroad. France, Germany, and Japan are good markets, but 60% of sales come from the United States.

As a result, the Cook and Becker range consist primarily of products that may be offered for thousands of euros. And that’s probably also why Dutch consumers aren’t enthusiastic about it yet. The Netherlands is a little behind in this regard. For example, Dutch consumers have a much longer sales cycle than American consumers. They spend more money without looking at the product, like when salespersons sell CSGO skins for PayPal. Dutch people often want to check before buying anything.

Digitization

Utrecht also has a top-class location. Only the physical gallery model is obsolete, and up to certain price levels, e-commerce works much better, especially for international viewers. The gaming industry is experiencing rapid digitization. Many consumers choose to buy games digitally and download them directly to the console or computer. As a result, the number of physical copies is declining rapidly.

Movies

The company is also seeing expansion opportunities in the movie world, which, according to the brand, has become more and more similar to the game world in recent years. “The best game designers and artists are also working on, for example, Marvel and Star Wars blockbusters. It’s a kind of the same process. Today, 80% of blockbusters are computer-generated images.” The brand finds many opportunities for Cook and Becker. But he definitely likes one combination in the art of cinema. They have more to do with product rights, publishers, and portrait rights.

Game Revenue

In recent years, the game industry has grown exponentially. According to a report by market research firm SuperData, the gaming industry “and related industries” had sales of approximately US $ 120 billion in 2018. This makes the sport bigger than the film and music industries combined. Games like Fortnite have become particularly large in recent years. There, revenue is mainly generated by microtransactions, that is, in-game purchases. Sales of the game itself continue to grow.

Movie as a High Form of Art and Here’s Why

Art is quite a very broad term. Throughout centuries, it has gone through different meanings to different people. Art is quite complex as it is transcending cultures, language and time. This made art to be almost available everywhere from the creation of wholesale cabinets Texas, architecture or even in movies.

Art in Movies?

In movies, it might actually be deemed as the highest level of art. Then again, it will all fall depending on who is interpreting it. But for the sake of this article, we will establish a few reasons why movie is a prime example of art.

It Takes Years to Make

With movies running at average of 125 minutes, it is indeed a remarkable to complete such feat. Granted the length of a project does not always serve as the determining factor of the result, but the amount of commitment and dedication to put together the final product is something.

It Calls for a Team

Majority of art forms are requiring only the skill of the artist and on what he/she can achieve. With movies on the other hand, it requires teams of skilled and experienced individuals with one goal in mind.

Telling a Story

Every artist tries to tell a story or express their thoughts or emotions through their art.

Humans are communicating by stories and movies can tell various emotions to the audience and be able to connect with the viewers on different levels. Similar to a good photo or painting, movies might mean something totally different on the viewer.

Filmmaking Uses Skills Specific to the Craft

For as far as movies have been discovered, filmmakers are looking for new ways of improving technology to make their final film. The world of cinema literally created totally unique skill sets that are made strictly for cinema. Similar to inventing paintbrush, filmmakers hired technicians and scientist artist from different backgrounds in order to come up with tools that are necessary in making props, editing, shooting scenes, adding sound, adding visual effects, production and distribution.

Granted, these tools have been put into use in several other forms of media. Still, all these tools started to provide solutions to filmmaker’s challenges.

Are Modern and Contemporary Art the Same?

By the time you begin to learn about art styles and movements, it becomes pretty common to be confused about contemporary and modern art. Words like “modern” and “contemporary” are interchangeably used in describing something new or is on trend.

What is Modern and Contemporary?

Modern is often used in describing the recent or present times rather than the remote past. With this in mind, it is a fair assumption that modern art was recently created. But this isn’t the case. Modern art is referring to artworks produced throughout a specific time in the past. Believe it or not, many popular examples of modern art are nearly 200 years old.

When talking about art that is of the present, what we actually mean is contemporary art. Contemporary is the right term to use when describing art of the present time, or frequently, those made by living artists.

Differences between Contemporary and Modern

Contemporary and modern art came from different time periods. The latter is in reference to art that is made from the 1880s all the way to 1970s. Modern art is more recent compared to the classical or Renaissance period. It’s by no means the latest.

With contemporary art on the other hand, it can be described as the present work of art. Normally, those who are still creating arts and alive or those who’ve recently retired or died.

The Focus of each Medium

With modern art, it is mainly on painting or drawing. On the other hand, the rapid increase in technology has significantly changed the available mediums to contemporary artists since the time when the modernist period has ended. In fact, art is not only limited to tangible artwork pieces but you can also see one in form of digital arts, which perhaps can be seen in Minecraft survival servers.

Today, contemporary artists are bolder with their mediums. Just as mentioned, it can be any medium that you can ever think of from object design, video art, graphic arts, tech-enabled/digital artworks and so forth. To some, it can be a challenge to understand and classify contemporary art. Compared to art periods of the past, contemporary art isn’t united by a specific style and can’t be grouped easily to different movements similar to modern art.

Video Game As An Art: Rbx

Art is initially based on the purely creative process. This is the reason why most people would instinctively affirm that video games are definitely an art. Someone creates something and uses their own creativity to do it, the result is art. And that’s why it’s completely obvious. Game development itself is more than a creative process in which worlds are created, characters come up with and all kinds of ideas are put into practice.

Can Video games like Robux consider an art?

While you are watching a painting, a piece of music or even a film, which is sometimes also considered to be art, can simply let itself be felt. This is seldom the case with a PC or video game such as rbx free.

While the formal term speaks of art when work has characteristics that can be used to assign it to a fixed type, the material term art assumes that art is present when the work is the result of a creative design. The artist brings his experiences, impressions and experiences to view. When it comes to the open concept of art, you speak of art when the work can be interpreted. So you see, there is no question of purely passive observation.  From a legal point of view, one could now say that video games are definitely an art.

The subjective view of things: Why Robux games are art

rbx free

Now you can throw yourself into the most varied of definitions and listen to arguments for and against from important personalities. But in the end, it is purely subjective feelings that count, especially with regard to a question that cannot be directly addressed rather a yes or no answer. The majority of the gaming community, if you ask about it, now sees their own hobby as a kind of art. There are also some games that speak for this view of things. They ultimately go more in the artistic direction than other titles.

But it is not just the visual aspects that lead many players to declare games as art. Because just like literature, which is considered an art form, video games can of course also come up with a gripping and good plot and narrative form.

Adding customer testimonials for your vlogging plan is particularly successful, as your new customers can observe actual, real men and women who have interacted with your brand. It is true, believable, and good for establishing trust.

  1. Introduce Your Business

Wish people to feel connected to their brand? Vlogging will help. You can build compassion by introducing the people behind the business, with videos that show off your team members, and allow your clients to get to understand them. This functions as a kind of”behind the scenes” look into your organization, which puts human faces on your brand, and aids you to showcase your”relatable” side.

  1. Feature interviews

As you’re in the process of presenting your business, why don’t you take it to another level by vlogging a meeting with business specialists, managers, and CEOs? These thought leaders may have very interesting things to say about your business, and the business generally. Interviews help further humanize your brand and set you apart as someone with an actual, authentic understanding of a topic.

  1. Vlog sites

Websites continue to be a wonderful approach to reach out to your viewers, but some folks would like the chance to”watch” their information, instead of reading it. Bearing that in mind, just narrating your most recent blog articles can be sufficient to enlarge your vlogging portfolio and provide clients a broader choice of articles to choose from when engaging with your brand.

  1. Vlog your day in the workplace

Finally, why don’t you give your clients a”day in the life” by letting them walk on your office with you, and learn what it is like to operate in your business? Show them what sort of responsibilities that you have, or discuss a Facebook Live feed to the regular happenings in your business. Just try to prevent grabbing the boss yelling at a worker on camera cringe-worthy things like that may be detrimental to your brand new.

Bear in mind, consistency is going to be the trick to your video blogging achievement. The more often you post video sites, and the further you get accustomed to vlogging, the faster you are going to get popularity. Bearing that in mind, you always need to be thinking about new themes, or reaching out to marketing specialists who can allow you to complete your vlog strategy.

Recent Art Findings Concerning Works of Italy’s Leonardo da Vinci

Two recent scholarly findings have surfaced about drawings sketched by Italy’s most famous Renaissance artist and poly-mathematician, Leonardo da Vinci. An Italian scholar believes that a drawing of Jesus included in a private collection in Lecco, is one of Leonardo da Vinci’s works. In a Vienna study, researchers discovered DNA along with microorganisms on a da Vinci drawing.

Italian Scholar Attributes a Drawing of Jesus to Leonardo da Vinci

A drawing of Jesus, kept in a private collection for years was identified by Annalisa Di Maria as a work of da Vinci. Ms. DI Maria who works at the Florence division of the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Centre made the discovery in connection with a request for attribution concerning a drawing sketched in red chalk, presented by the Lecco art collector.

In an interview by the Italian daily newspaper La Stampa, Ms. Di Maria said that the Jesus image sketched in red chalk is a genuine representation of da Vinci’s artistic language. However, her attribution work is still ongoing as she has yet to establish the date the artwork was created by da Vinci.

Additionally, Ms. Di Maria told La Stampa that she does not believe the “Salvator Mundi” sold by Christie’s in 2017 for $450.3 million is a da Vinci work at all. Mainly because it reflects a different look from all other artworks created by the famous Renaissance master.

Still not all experts agree with the UNESCO scholar’s claim. Martin Kemp, an art historian who has dedicated most of his life studying the life of da Vinci told the Telegraph that he needed to see the drawing for himself. That way, he can assess whether the method used matches that of da Vinci’s left-handed manner of sketching.

DNA and Other Microorganisms were Found on Leonardo da Vinci’s Artworks

Latest research discovered human DNA, bacteria, and fungi on a few of Leonardo da Vinci’s notable artworks such as Uomo della Bitta and Autoritratto. According to El País, a Spanish newspaper, some of these may have been on the drawings while it was being created during the Renaissance period.

Various art restorers, microbiologists, historians, and others have teamed up in recognizing the particles existing in da Vinci’s drawings. The drawings contain a huge amount of genetic material known in the art world as a bio-archive.

Guadalupe Piñar, one of the microbiologists who spoke to the newspaper said they found traces of virus associated to pneumonia, and microorganisms that reside in intestines, as well as bacteria that inhabit human epidermis.

The Artistic Interpretation of Smoking In Art

Painting of a man smoking

The growth of tobacco began nearly 8000 years back though the smoking and chewing of tobacco did not become a widespread phenomenon until about 2000 decades back. The smoking of tobacco became orientated with course with cigars behaving as a status symbol since they were and are still costly, imported, hand-crafted things that political and corporate leaders have made them take the notion of course and the picture of a much better life and standing in society. The setting from the accession of smoking chambers into society and also gentlemen’s clubs created the belief that smoking was rich and privileged. Though this addictive habit has numerous medical implications and throughout the glamorization of smoking through the course and in art across time it has turned into a popular phenomenon, together with societal smoking being a favorite activity, especially amongst youth, regardless of the evident health risks and slogan related to smoking; “Smoking Kills.”

Art depicting smoking is clear across the entire world and over decades. Many functions depicting amounts and Lords of electricity smoking cigars in addition to cigarettes. With figures of significance known for smoking such as David Bowie, Frank Sinatra, Einstein, Churchill, Alan Rickman, and Ian Fleming all of whom died of smoke associated ailments.

This prevalence of smoking becoming a status symbol as a result of the cost of tobacco, cigars, and snus for people in UK, and so viewed as a luxury thing owned by just the wealthy as it was popularized. This notion of excellence through smoking is evident from the work of Pablo Picasso, Vincent Van Gogh in addition to contemporary artists such as Chuck Close. Their artworks depicting pictures of women smoking and men.

Boy with a Pipe, painted by Picasso in 1905 depicts a young boy dressed in blue carrying a pipe. The wall is painted at a red and A garland of roses encases his head, itself decorated by flowers. Picasso had used mild to mimic the boy’s head using all the sources flowing in from the top and supporting his hand that was. His emphasized face of this young boy falls to his garments compared. His overalls appearing worn and mudded. He gets no eye contact with the audience drawing on a barrier between the distance reflected in the audiences along with the painting. Slightly slumped, although, he seems casual at his pose and disengaged with his environment. This ordinary atmosphere indicates this acceptability and normality pf smoking and smoking at a young age. This bit was revolutionary for Picasso it revealed his kind of painting progressing from the forms towards a compatible classicism along with the El Greco palette, which means it is highly regarded and was seen by millions since.

Self-portrait with pipe and Straw hat, by Vincent Van Gogh, is adorned with big taches for brush strokes making a picture of split color. This manner of painting permitting to keep his experiments, putting tone next instead of expressing his paintings in color. The marks create this painting seem sketchy in look, but a greater focus on detail is recorded as one of the subjects of color, in the tonality of their face. Even though there is this painting a self-portrait currently catching the feeling of affinity between the farmers. The present staged or of Vincent posed. This provides a feeling of affinity with smoking, even as though it is a part of the habit. This connection isn’t giving status as what’s ordinary, but approval as well as it is taken in by action to part.

Enrique Simonet’s self-portrait painted in 1918 depicts himself, formally dressed and unlike the preceding two that he looks quite staged but not very attaining dominance or authority within his pose, with his hands resting in his pocket appearing rather at ease in his environment. This painting has been modeled to make naturalistic attributes to Simonet’s skin. Even though the painting onto the match seems to have been painted by dragging abrasive paint throughout the canvas making the painting’s unfinished look. Enrique makes eye contact with the audience, from underneath appearing as though he’s looking back on the viewer painted although no in a presence of jurisdiction. This provides a feeling of standing the way he views himself and to Enrique and his place in society. His present and match tobacco that is nonessential the fabric. Within this post period of 1918 at a recovering economy is reveals him as a man of power and wealth. His attitude towards his riches shows grandeur and excellence to all for example his cigarette. He is wealthy and can be portrayed smoking, his station in society increases the glamour about that act of smoking.

More contemporary artists also have created self-portraits of these smoking such as Chuck Close. His huge Self-Portrait (with Cigarette) painted in 1967 — 1968 is a photorealistic portrait painted into a high quality of detail written with unique degrees of attention gap, described in the characteristic of the stubble but apparently less concentrated across the facial skin. He wanted this to be perceived as a large picture of himself, so that it is really hard to dismiss, which makes it big. This 9ft painting looks for himself. Its size permitting to interact with the picture allowing the viewer to see it. Appearing virtually indistinguishable the brush strokes clear on the surface. This painting captures much different light above shadows down on the face producing highlights from around the face with the picture lit and also to an extent. This mild producing shadows adding to the image’s level. The depiction of smoking in this painting could be summed up by Chuck Close himself who stated in a meeting; “There is no question, I’d some attitude about how I wished to be sensed. It sounds really funny trying to seem like this rough man with a cigarette sticking out from the corner of the mouth”. His portrait expresses an awareness of potency and masculinity attached to smoking though smoking is an indication of a man.

These paintings show evidence of this glamorization of smoking expressed through artwork as time passes. The depiction of smoking has gone to be portrayed in fields of the arts such as movies and music during its endorsement on account of the dismissal of this stigmatization of smoking. Although bans are set up to decrease the use of tobacco firms found a new frontier to advertise their brands; via music and films.

A US study revealed that onscreen smoking accounts for 37 percent of new adolescent smokers also predicted that at 2014 6 million new kid smokers could appear and two million could die from tobacco-induced diseases. For kids having tobacco at 70 ranked Together with the 15 most prosperous movies in the united kingdom from 1989-2008 under 18. Depicting smoking at the kind of Absolem a cigar robot and that the caterpillar. These pictures targeted at impressionable and young kids give an image of smoking as something that is okay to take in and as an occurrence.

Moreover, positioning of tobacco in songs movies has been rising over recent years to an extent which in 2014 from the 32 music movies there were 470 moments (4.7 mins) of cigarette impressions, which can be considered to have had more than 1 billion cigarette impressions produced in Britain alone. With latest music movies including 7 Years (Lukas Graham); “By eleven smoking pill and drinking burning spirits” and Castle on a Hill (Ed Sheeran) “Fifteen years of age and smoking hand-rolled smokes”, which makes apparent references to smoking at a young age with 7 years getting 630 million viewpoints around youtube and Castle on a mountain 270 million. (Pictures displaying scenes from Castle to a mountain music movie).

The health dangers this advertising of smoking can cause are awful. Nicotine is an extremely addictive substance and the approval of smoking given via artwork, music videos and movies is currently adding to the range of individuals. Smoking contributes to lung diseases such as COPD such as bronchitis and emphysema, lung cancer. Smokers in 13 X more likely to develop COPD and smokers who suffer from asthma. Smoking reduces fertility in both women and men and may have serious consequences on ladies. At deformities, there’s a heightened likelihood of a miscarriage, stillbirth and early births, and in smokers. It may have impacts to the blood and heart flow increasing the dangers of heart attacks, cardiovascular disease, and strokes. Together with inactive hand smokers also from inhaling the smoke in creating glue ear in children and the likelihood of chest infections and lung cancer. These dangers create the glamorization evident from the arts crucial and much more threatening.

Tobacco businesses justify themselves by saying that they are only meeting the market need and by doing this are supplying countless tasks to farmers of tobacco and inside their own companies. What their customers do with their products is them down and the dangers are clearly exhibited to them throughout the’smoking kills’ and’smokers die younger’ decals that are exhibited on the boxes, demonstrating they don’t condone the smoking and inhalation of the cigarettes that they create but they’re not likely to stop production as a result of large market demand. But this increases the morality of the creation. That if they’re so clear on the dangers their clients are in, how do they allow cigarettes to be generated when smoking’s consequences are so dire?

Smoking hasn’t only been popularised throughout the arts but also by the rich and famous. Stars are being these folks with effects on youthful websites and being used as role models, smoking. Additionally, smoking had invited another 50 percent of their populace to be invited to smoking.

Though some might argue otherwise. People have free will and freedom of choice what actions they participate in and in what they do. That their merchandise can be marketed by a new in any way what the client does with the item although that they desire is their own pick. The depiction of smoking people view is not glamorizing smoking but only revealing that smoking is an accepted part of the culture and there is plenty of movies, music, and art that condemn smoking for what it really is. That for a few smoking gives an essential escape from anxiety and calms nerves offering many with a relief.

In the finish the art of Picasso and Van Gogh portray smoking in this relaxed and casual fashion as merely part of society it looks normal and anticipated, meanwhile at the art of Enrique Simone that there is a higher connotation of social standing, class, and prosperity behind the easy act of smoking. This provides a new dimension to smoking putting a greater significance and. No matter how Chuck Close’s artwork provides reason to think it indicates a feeling of durability and masculinity. This depiction of smoking also has discovered its natural path to different forms of the arts that in this day and age have higher consequences on younger generations which regardless of the health dangers and warnings that the amounts of smokers have improved and the creation of cigarettes hasn’t halted. I believe this glamorization of smoking in art’s effect is as a knock-on the impact that the numbers of smokers have significantly improved and what’s resulted in its widespread acceptance and advancement. That the glamour’s consequences are concealed beneath the haze of approval created from audio and actors celebrating smoking and boosting its places of life.

Understanding How Night Vision Works

Can you keep track of the number of times a person said to you this statement, ” if you are able to eat all the corrects, you will be able to see clearly in the dark”. Surprisingly, a lot of people believe in such a saying. If this is true, then sailors, pilot, and soldiers will not go anywhere without putting a carrot in their pockets or bags.

Thanks to the advancement of technology, the more beneficial items are best night vision scope under 1000 or night vision goggles. These items are electronic products that improve one’s weak night vision several times better. If are to fight wars at night, go hunting, or just watch the wildlife, night vision goggles are your much-needed item. But the question is, how do these goggles work? How do they manage to transform darkness into light? Keep on reading to know more about this.

How do night vision goggles work?

In theory

  1. The dim light coming from a dark scene passes through the lens located at the front. The light is created from photons (particles of light) of various colors
  2. As the photons make its way through the goggles, they pound a light-sensitive area known as a photocathode. It’s somehow like a very accurate solar panel: its duty is to transform photons into electrons (the small, subatomic debris that stores electricity surrounding the circuit).
  3. The electrons are loudened using a photomultiplier, a type of photoelectric cell. Every electron making their way through the photomultiplier ensues in several more electrons getting rid of it.
  4. The electrons leaving the surface strike a phosphor screen, which is the same as the screen in traditional television. As the electrons strike the phosphor, they generate small flares of light.
  5. Because there are several more photons than the previously entered the goggles, the screen makes a much clearer version of the old scene.

Why does everything look green when using night vision goggles?

Even at night, the photons that strike the lens at the front of night vision products are bringing the light of all kinds of color. But when they are transformed to electrons, it is impossible to preserve those details.

How To Make A Rustic Wood Sign

A custom farmhouse wood sign. Your home number engraved in a rustic wood sign is a nice idea. You could even make a simple “Welcome” message at the front of your door. Who knows? You could even make an extra buck from this DIY project that you can do in just a few hours. I heard a substitute teacher who earned more than $1,000 selling wood signs. So if she can make money from this wooden craft, why can’t you?

So here’s how to make a custom rustic wood sign for your home.

Of course, you would need a block of wood, a sanding paper (or an orbital sander if you have one), paint, and a paintbrush. Refer to the video for the simplest instructions on how to finish a simple rustic wood sign.

1. Print out the word, house number, or date you want in your wood sign. You can start with your house number to make it simple.
2. With a protective surface, cut around the printed letter or number using a knife or a sharp cutter. Remove the printed sections. When done, you have actually created a stencil.
3. Use a painter’s tape to secure the stencil on the wood board of your choice.
4. Quickly blot the paint on with a dry brush. Since we are making a rustic design, blotting the paint on the stencil doesn’t have to be perfect.
5. While the paint is wet, remove the stencil and allow the paint to dry.
6. Age the paint after the paint is dry. You can use sandpaper to do this or your random orbital sander (black and decker orbital sander). When using a sander, remember too fast can destroy your work, too slow can take you forever. So just use the medium setting for this.
7. After sanding, you can add the handles to hang it on your door.

DIY projects are a great way to express yourself. This is a great activity that you can do with your kids too. And what’s good about it is that you can even make it to a hobby that’s earning you money.

Art Activities for Kids at Home

Even with the current pandemic going on in almost all parts of the world, there are still a lot of positive reasons to look forward to during this lockdown. Like, for example, you can now enjoy more time being with your family at home, try different activities with the kids, and finally enjoying what it feels like to be home once more.

Although there are no schools during a lockdown, kids are probably at home. And instead of letting them play with gadgets all the time, it would be better to introduce them to different kinds of art activities too to help stimulate brain activeness in the house.

Some of these activities are as follows…

Rock Painting

This first art activity is popular currently in a lot of areas for hiding and finding decorative rocks. Many villages and areas have Facebook pages dedicated to this fun and free pastime that families can do together! Simply paint some rocks however you wish, go out and hide them. And then is there is a Facebook page in your area dedicated to rock hiding then look for others and post on the page when you find them.

Wood and Wool Wind

This activity requires some adult help, especially with the hammer part of the activity, but its a great way for younger kids to start to learn to use equipment like this in an easy way and take responsibility for being careful. As long as you help and guide them and make sure they don’t hammer their fingers then you can achieve a brilliantly effective end piece of craft for the child to display proudly in their bedroom.

Masking Tape With Picture

This art project is one introduced to Daisy by her friend Jazzy B and one that he and his brother like to do lots because it can take many forms – you can be abstract or create a recognisable picture. Jazzy’s brother shows us at the end how he created a race track with his recent creation! And all you need is masking tape, paper and paints!

Glass Print Picture

This is our favourite one, as it is so easy and so effective. The patterns you can make with this effect are astounding and make fantastic end pictures to be displayed. They also open up a whole discussion about light and the perspective of light through different artworks!

Aside from these art activities, you can also check out toys your 7 year old son enjoy here.
