The most awaited sequel to the ¨To All the Boys I´ve Loved Before¨ is ¨PS. I Still Love You¨. Indeed, a lot of people are talking relentlessly about this awaitedd movie of the year. And on its first day, it is definitely making noise on Netflix.
I mean we all know rom com movies don´t usually get their sequels on the next year, but the book inspired series To All the Boys I´ve Loved Before is definiely different! The people just needed to see it right after the year.
That is why today, I am making a short film review of the recently launched PS I Still Love You. The question is, is it worth the hype?
Cinematography
For a Netflix film, the cinematography of the movie is definitely worth it. The film is good at is getting inside the mind set of teenager. Although it is a classic adaptation to the book, the filming and cinematography just get along with it.
Plot Twist
If you have been reading the book series of this movie, then you are definitely in the loop for what´s coming, what´s next and what is it going to be. I am so glad that they retain the contents of the book and only revised some of it into really making it a good movie. The plot twist was awesome, and it is definitely not the one you have been thinking of.
Typically, it is sort of a classic rendetion of the book so don´t expect more like having it done on a new generation basis of plot twists. I am glad Netflix didn´t do anything to really revise the whole story.
Next Movie is Coming
People will be wondering, ¨okay, what next Lara Jean?¨.
What can be said about where this all ends but that To All the Boys: Always and Forever, Lara Jean is tentatively slated to come out later this year? And that, ultimately, these films might get at something sometimes true about young love that they never intended, which is that the ideas that you form about who you should want can be difficult to shake. They can stick around for so long that you can end up making a whole movie about someone hurling herself at a relationship that doesn’t seem to make her happy. That she’s still sure it’s all she ever wanted may not be romantic, but it’s definitely real.
