fondazione march intends to realize no more than three exhibitions each year, dedicated to international mid-career artists who rarely had chanches to show their work in Italy.
Daniel Knorr’s show will be the first show of 2008: it will give evidence of the Foundation interest for the themes and the creative energies of the new Europe.
The second exhibition for 2008 will be a double event in two different spaces: the Foundation will host a Solo Show of the artist Peter Land, in collaboration with gallery Nicolai Wallner di Copenaghen. The exhibition will arrive in Padova after a tour through Copenhagen in August 2007 and Linz in March 2008.
For September 2008 we have planned a double Solo Show of Antal Lakner and Arthur Zmijewski.
For summer 2008 fondazione march is planning also a competition for young video artists.
The Foundation offers also a programme of other events: meetings, worhshops, screenings and performances, in collaboration with international artists and opinion leaders of contemporary art world, who will enrich life and activities of the space. Every action of the Foundation will be closely connected with an artistic action, to underline the strong will of this space to be an art project more than an institution.
fondazione march will offer also a substantial offer of different services in order to widen contemporary art target, to involve local and national territory and make the Foundation a real active point of attraction that can be lived, shared and attended.
